MY STORY

​

I'm Aleksandra Blinnikka, a windsurfer, and I'm on a mission to not only chase my Olympic dreams but to inspire healthier, more active, and adventurous lives through my journey as an athlete.

My windsurfing journey began at the age of 20 and now water holds a very special place in my heart, and I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of exercise, outdoor activities, and finding one's true calling.

​

In 2019, I took the bold step of fully dedicating myself to Olympic windsurfing and later resigning from a full-time job. This journey isn't just about personal glory; it's a unique opportunity to share the highs and lows, the unwavering dedication, and the sacrifices that accompany the pursuit of an Olympic dream.

My best result so far in the iQFoil olympic class is 26./95. in the Europeans. 
I've also won twice the World and European Championships in the Raceboard Class.

2019 & 2018 I was nominated as the Athlete of Vantaa. I was also one of the TOP-11 nominees in “Sports Moment of the Year” in
Finnish Sports Gala.

Represent Finland in the 2024 Olympics in iQFoil class.
